Version: 23.10.2026 · Provider: STEINWALL, sole proprietorship, owner Sebastian Keil, Lindenallee 2, 14050 Berlin, Germany · Email: [email protected] · Phone: +49 155 68123121 · VAT ID DE463568578

1. Scope and Contractual Parties

(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the use of STEINWALL Guardian (“Guardian”) via the website guardian.steinwallai.com and the associated app between STEINWALL, owner Sebastian Keil, Lindenallee 2, 14050 Berlin (hereinafter “Provider” or “we”) and the users (hereinafter “you”).

(2) Deviating, conflicting or supplementary General Terms and Conditions of the user do not become part of the contract unless their validity is expressly agreed to in writing.

(3) A consumer within the meaning of these GTC is any natural person who concludes the contract for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity (Section 13 German Civil Code (BGB)). An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that acts in the exercise of its commercial or independent professional activity when concluding a legal transaction (Section 14 German Civil Code (BGB)).

(4) Use of the free plan is permitted for persons aged 16 and over. Persons under 16 may use Guardian only with the explicit consent of their legal representatives (parents). Paid plans may be booked exclusively by persons of legal age (18 and over) or by minors with the explicit consent of their legal representatives.

2. Services of Guardian

(1) Guardian checks content that you submit yourself or that you explicitly allow to be retrieved (messages, comments, screenshots, short videos, voice messages as well as comments from linked own social‑media accounts) for harassment, threats and fraud attempts, classifies it and assists with evidence preservation (case file, export, PDF report depending on the plan).

(2) The classification is performed by AI models. The results are automated assessments and not binding determinations. Guardian may overlook threats and may misclassify harmless content. Guardian does not replace legal advice nor does it file reports with police or platform operators. In acute emergency or danger situations, please contact the police directly (emergency number 110).

(3) Guardian does not publish, transmit, block or report content on your behalf and does not act autonomously on your linked accounts.

(4) Guardian provides no legal, tax or other specialist consultancy services and does not create textual content for further distribution.

3. Registration, Account and Contract Formation

(1) Usage requires the creation of a user account. During registration you receive a one‑time cryptographic recovery key. Your case file is encrypted with a key that can only be opened by your password or your recovery key. If both keys are lost, restoration by the provider is technically impossible.

(2) The display of tariffs on the website does not constitute a binding offer. By clicking the paid order button you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon provision of the service and the access to the booking confirmation in text form.

(3) The contract language is German. The contract text is stored by us and sent to you with the booking confirmation including these terms and conditions in text form.

4. Tariffs, Term, no automatic renewal

(2) There is no subscription and no automatic contract renewal. The booked paid access ends automatically at the expiry of the booked time span, without the need for termination. After expiry the account is reset to the functionality of the free tariff.

(3) To prevent abusive use, in addition to the monthly quota there is a maximum number of allowed tests per hour. Overuse in the Creator and Creator Pro tariffs is only activated after your explicit confirmation and prior payment; automatic additional charges do not occur.

5. Prices and Payment

(1) All listed prices are final prices in euros. No further costs apply.

(2) Payment is made in advance via the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Payment and credit‑card data are not stored by us.

6. Obligations of the User and Permitted Use

(1) Guardian may be used solely for the protection of one’s own person or on the explicit instruction and with the consent of the affected person. The following is prohibited in particular:

(2) Login credentials as well as the recovery key must be kept securely and protected from third‑party access. The provider will never ask you for your password or your recovery key.

(3) In the case of serious or repeated violations of these obligations, the provider is entitled to suspend the access temporarily or permanently. No claim to a prorated refund exists in cases of intentional violations.

7. Free Plan and Data Usage

Using the free plan (age 16 and older; under 16 only with parental consent) requires consent that anonymised analysis content and usage data may be used to further develop and optimise the AI models. Paid plans are only available to individuals of legal age (18) or with the consent of a parent/legal guardian, and such consent may be refused or revoked at any time with effect for the future. The legality of data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected.

8. Availability

The provider strives to ensure continuous and uninterrupted availability of the services. Excluded from this are necessary maintenance operations and disruptions outside the provider’s influence, especially outages of network operators, third‑party service providers, or changes to interfaces of external platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).

9. Liability

(1) The Provider is liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, and in cases of intent and gross negligence as well as under the provisions of the Product Liability Act or upon assumption of an explicit guarantee.

(2) In cases of simple negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation). In this case, liability is limited to the amount of damage that is typical of the contract and foreseeable. Otherwise, liability for simple negligence is excluded.

(3) For damages based on erroneous or incomplete AI assessments, the Provider is liable only within the scope of the preceding paragraphs 1 and 2.

10. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Consumers entering into a distance contract are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal set out below.

Withdrawal Information

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you concluded the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (STEINWALL, operated by Sebastian Keil, Lindenallee 2, 14050 Berlin, Germany, Telephone: +49 155 68123121, E-mail: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the enclosed model withdrawal form below for this, but it is not mandatory.

In order to meet the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send your communication exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard type of delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We shall make such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

If you requested that we commence performance of the services before the withdrawal period expired, you must pay us a fair amount corresponding to the services already rendered until the moment you informed us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract, compared to the total scope of services provided for in the contract.
